Jinx ARAM Build — Get Excited and Pentakill the Bridge

Jinx in ARAM is a hyper-carry teamfight monster. Her passive resets on kills, her rockets have insane range, and her R executes from across the map. Here's how to dominate with the loose cannon.

Jinx in ARAM is one of the most satisfying champions to play. Her passive (Get Excited!) gives her massive movement speed and attack speed on kills or assists. In ARAM's constant teamfights, one kill triggers a chain reaction — you get the reset, shred the next target, get another reset, and suddenly you're 1v5ing their entire team.

Her win rate in ARAM sits around 52-53%. The narrow bridge makes her rockets (Q) hit multiple targets, and her R (Super Mega Death Rocket!) can execute low-HP enemies from fountain. She's a hyper-carry who takes over games once she gets rolling.

Best Jinx ARAM Runes

Primary: Precision

Lethal Tempo — Jinx scales with attack speed. Lethal Tempo gives you extended range and massive attack speed in fights, letting you shred entire teams with rockets.

Presence of Mind — Jinx is mana-hungry. Presence of Mind restores mana on takedowns, keeping you casting through extended fights.

Legend: Bloodline — Lifesteal keeps you alive in teamfights. Jinx has no mobility, so sustain is crucial.

Coup de Grace — Extra damage to low-HP targets. Your rockets execute low-HP enemies.

Secondary: Domination

Taste of Blood — Sustain from autos. Small but adds up over time.

Treasure Hunter — Extra gold on unique kills. ARAM games are shorter, so the early gold spike helps you hit item spikes faster.

Why not Fleet Footwork? Fleet is fine for sustain, but Lethal Tempo scales harder in ARAM. The extended range and attack speed let you shred entire teams with rockets. Fleet is better for laning, but ARAM is all teamfights.

Best Jinx ARAM Items

Core Build (in order)

Kraken Slayer — True damage on every third auto. Jinx attacks fast, so Kraken procs constantly. This is your core item.

Berserker's Greaves — Attack speed boots. More autos = more Kraken procs.

Runaan's Hurricane — This is mandatory on Jinx. Runaan's bolts apply your rocket splash damage to multiple targets. In ARAM teamfights, you're hitting all 5 enemies at once.

Infinity Edge — Your rockets can crit. IE makes those crits hit 40% harder. This is your biggest power spike.

Situational 5th & 6th Items

Lord Dominik's Regards — If they have 2+ tanks stacking armor. You'll need this most games.

Bloodthirster — If you need more lifesteal and a shield. The shield helps you survive burst.

Guardian Angel — If you're the only carry. Revive, get a reset, keep shredding.

Mortal Reminder — If they have heavy healing. The Grievous Wounds applies on your rockets.

Don't skip Runaan's Hurricane. Runaan's is mandatory on Jinx in ARAM. The bolts apply your rocket splash damage to multiple targets. In grouped teamfights, you're hitting all 5 enemies with every auto. This is why Jinx pentakills happen.

Ability Order

Max Q first (Switcheroo!), then W (Zap!), then E (Flame Chompers!). Take R at 6, 11, 16.

Q is your primary damage. Rockets give you 150 bonus range and splash damage. In ARAM, you're using rockets 90% of the time.

W second for the poke and slow. In ARAM, W hits through minions to poke enemies.

E is one point wonder. The root duration doesn't scale with rank — only the cooldown decreases. Max it last.

ARAM-Specific Tips

Your passive resets on kills and assists. Jinx's Get Excited! passive gives you 175% movement speed and 25% attack speed for 6 seconds on kills or assists. In ARAM teamfights, one kill triggers a chain reaction. Get the first kill, shred the next target with your reset, get another kill, repeat.

Your R executes from across the map. Jinx's Super Mega Death Rocket! does more damage based on distance traveled and missing HP. Use R to execute low-HP enemies who are backing off. You can hit them from fountain.

Rockets vs minigun: Jinx's Q toggles between rockets (long range, splash damage, costs mana) and minigun (short range, attack speed). In ARAM, use rockets 90% of the time. The 150 bonus range keeps you safe, and the splash damage hits multiple enemies.

W poke: Jinx's W passes through minions and slows the first champion hit. In ARAM, use W to poke from max range before fights start.

Positioning: Jinx has 525 range with minigun, 675 range with rockets. Always use rockets in teamfights. Stand behind your team, auto the closest target, and let your passive resets carry you to pentakills.

When Jinx is Strong vs Weak in ARAM

Jinx dominates against grouped comps and squishy teams. If the enemy is all mages and ADCs, your rockets will shred them. She's also great against immobile comps who can't dive you.

She struggles against hard-engage assassins (Zed, Talon, Fizz) who can dive past your team and one-shot you before you get resets. She's also weak against long-range poke comps (Xerath, Ziggs, Lux) who poke you down before you can get in range.

She's weakest in the first 10 minutes before Kraken and Runaan's. Once you have both items, you're a monster. Once you have IE, you're unkillable because your resets let you 1v5.
