Teemo is an annoying lane bully who pokes you down with autos and blinds you when you try to trade. His shrooms zone you out and his W lets him escape ganks. The key to beating him is surviving early and outscaling him. He falls off hard after laning phase.
His Q blinds you for 2.5 seconds. If you're an auto-attack champion, you literally can't fight him when it's up. His shrooms are invisible and do massive damage over time. Step on one and you're chunked for 40% HP.

1. Pantheon (Top Lane)
Pantheon hard counters Teemo. His Q outranges Teemo's autos. His E blocks Teemo's Q and shroom damage. He can all-in at 6 and kill Teemo before he can react.
Why it works: Q poke beats Teemo's poke. E blocks blind and shrooms. You win all-ins.
How to play it: Q spam from range. When he walks up, E to block his Q. All-in at 6 with W → Q → E. Build Eclipse → Black Cleaver → Sterak's Gage.
2. Malphite (Top Lane)
Malphite doesn't care about Teemo's blind because his damage comes from abilities, not autos. He can farm safely with Q and outscales Teemo in teamfights. Post-6, he can R and one-shot Teemo.
Why it works: Ability-based damage ignores blind. Q poke from range. R one-shots him.
How to play it: Farm with Q. Don't try to auto him. Rush Sunfire Aegis for waveclear. At 6, R → E → Q and he's dead. Build full tank.
3. Yorick (Top Lane)
Yorick ignores Teemo in lane. His ghouls do all the damage, and Teemo's blind doesn't stop them. He can trap Teemo in his W and let ghouls kill him. He also outscales hard.
Why it works: Ghouls ignore blind. W traps him. You outscale.
How to play it: Farm and stack ghouls. When you have 4 ghouls, E → W → Q and let ghouls kill him. Build Trinity Force → Hullbreaker → tank items.
4. Cho'Gath (Top Lane)
Cho'Gath sustains through Teemo's poke with passive. His Q and W are point-and-click CC that Teemo can't dodge. His R executes Teemo through his W escape. He also stacks HP and becomes unkillable.
Why it works: Sustain beats poke. CC locks him down. R executes him.
How to play it: Farm with Q and W. Sustain with passive. At 6, Q → W → R and he's dead. Build Sunfire Aegis → Spirit Visage → tank items.
5. Garen (Top Lane)
Garen's passive regens all of Teemo's poke. His Q cleanses Teemo's blind and gives him speed to run him down. His E spins through shrooms without stopping. His R executes Teemo.
Why it works: Passive regens poke. Q cleanses blind. E ignores shrooms.
How to play it: Let him poke you. Back off and regen with passive. When he's low on mana, Q → E → R and kill him. Build Stridebreaker → Mortal Reminder → tank items.
How to Beat Teemo in Lane
Don't fight him early. Teemo wins all trades levels 1-5. Farm safely and wait for your powerspike.
Buy Oracle Lens. Sweeper reveals his shrooms. Clear them before fights and you remove half his power.
Rush MR. Spectre's Cowl or Hexdrinker negates his poke. He can't kill you if you have MR.
Bait his Q. If he uses Q on a minion, you have 8 seconds to trade. That's your window.
Call for ganks. Teemo has no escapes except W. If your jungler ganks, he's dead.
