Low elo players let Senna auto-Q them for free, not realizing that every two attacks on a champion drops a soul. Souls are literally permanent stats—AD, Range, and Crit Chance—that never go away. They also don't respect her Q range and line up perfectly for the heal/damage laser that passes through everything. A smurf prioritizes soul generation above all else, hitting champions whenever safe, collecting souls from dying enemies and minions, reaching 100 souls by 25 minutes to become an 800-range sniper. At that point, you out-range every ADC in the game and two-shot squishies from fog of war.
The Soul Stack
Start Q (Piercing Darkness). Walk into lane aggressively. Your goal is to auto-attack the enemy ADC or support twice to drop a soul, then collect it. The combo is: Auto > wait > Auto (second hit drops soul) > Q through them to heal yourself and deal damage. You have sustain advantage and range advantage over most lane opponents. Bully melee supports relentlessly—they cannot touch you. Against ranged supports, trade autos and out-sustain them with Q healing. Your Level 1 is deceptively strong because most players don't respect Senna's damage output.
Which Senna Skin to Use
'High Noon Senna' is the best skin (Gun horse). 'True Damage' is sleek. 'Winterblessed' is pretty. 'Project' is tactical.
'High Noon' for the horse-gun. 'True Damage' for the prestige and the music. 'Winterblessed' for the beautiful holiday effects. Senna has some of the best skins in the game—treat yourself.

When They Ban Senna
Ashe Support shoots arrows. Lux lasers. Pyke executes. Ashe matches the 'marksman support' vibe with global utility.

Optimal Runes for Senna
Fleet Footwork (Sustain/Kiting) or Grasp (Top/Tanky) or First Strike (Gold). Fleet is standard. Secondary Inspiration (Approach Velocity) or Precision (Presence of Mind).
Senna's Ability Priority
Max Q for healing/damage. Max W second for root duration. E last.
Mastering Senna's Kit
Piercing Darkness. Laser beam. Heals allies, damages enemies. Targets anything (Wards, turrets, minions). Attacks reduce Cooldown.
Last Embrace. Throws mist. Roots first enemy hit and nearby enemies after delay. Instant root if target dies.
Curse of the Black Mist. Camouflage field. Allies inside are Wraiths (Untargetable/Unclickable). Speed boost.
Dawning Shadow. Global beam. Middle damages enemies. Wide area shields allies. Instant cast (ish).
Senna's Lane Opponents
Lore Matchup. Skill. Avoid hook. Harvest souls from him.
Annoying. His shield blocks your autos/Q? (Q is not projectile? Q pierces Braum shield? Need to verify. usually Q goes through windwalls so probably goes through Unbreakable).
Hard. Hook = Dead. Glacial/Fleet to kite.
Vs Nautilus: Hard matchup. If he hooks you, you're dead. Stay behind minions and poke him with Q. Vs Soraka: annoying sustain battle. You have to focus her first or she'll just heal everything back.
Stacking Over Peeling
Stop farming minions! If you are playing the 'Fasting Senna' strategy (where your duo partner like Tahm Kench takes the CS), then you should NEVER last-hit minions because your soul drop rate from minions you kill is drastically lower than minions that die near you. Let your support item execute them or let your partner farm. You farm SOULS, not gold—mist is your currency. Also, respect that you are extremely squishy with no mobility. Senna has no dash, no blink, nothing. If you get caught by a hook or engage, you will die instantly. Ward aggressively but position defensively. Stay behind your frontline and poke from maximum range at all times.
When Your ADC Is Doomed
Dodge Zyra or Xerath. They out-range you and burst you. Also Leona who can dive you repeatedly.
Zyra plants block your W. Xerath outranges you. Leona dives you. You are squishy. If they engage, you die. Stay max range.
Dodge Zyra/Xerath. Range diff. Leona/Nautilus engage on you and you pop. Senna is greedy. Don't pick into kill lanes.
Peel or Engage?
In teamfights, stand behind your tank. Auto-attack constantly to lower Q cooldown (attacks reduce Q CD). Q through your tank to heal them and damage enemies. Use R globally to save a teammate or snipe a kill. E to hide your team from point-and-click aggro.
Your Q heals allies and damages enemies. Line it up! Your W is a delayed root—aim it at a minion that's about to die to proc the root instantly on the nearby champion.
Q through your tank to damage enemies. R to snipe cross-map kills (accidentally, of course). E to shroud team. Stay alive and stack souls.
The Lethality Senna Build
Tank Senna (Locket/Grasp) or Lethality (Youmuu/Edge of Night). Rapid Firecannon is huge for Soul collection range.
Youmuu's and Rapid Firecannon are your importants. Extra move speed and extra range for that one important auto. If you're feeling spicy, build Manamune for the infinite mana and scaling AD. Senna is a scale-monster.
Umbral Glaive -> Youmuu's -> Edge of Night. Vision control puts you ahead. Lethality makes your Q-Auto heal/hurt massive.
Timing Senna's All-Ins
40 Souls (Range). 80 Souls (Crit/Range). 2 Items. Level 16.
Every soul you collect is a power spike. By 40 souls, you have an extra 40 range. By 100, you have 100% crit chance. Senna is the definition of 'be patient and win'. Don't force it, just farm it.
40 Souls. 80 Souls (Range spike). Level 16. You scale infinitely. Don't force plays. Let the game come to you.
The Infinite Range
Collecting a soul from their corpse. Managing to heal your ally and kill them with the same Q laser. Global R snipe.
Your passive 'Absolution' increases your range by 20 for every 20 souls. By 40 minutes, you should be out-ranging towers. You are a sniper, not a brawler. Stay back, collect souls, and win the game from two screens away.
Collect souls. Outrange towers. 2-shot the enemy ADC from outside their screen. Type 'Range diff' in chat. Scaling is inevitable.
